I had a fantastic experience at Hostel Malti. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a great sense of conviviality and community. Special thanks to Neil Harrison, who went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt comfortable and cared for. His kindness and attentiveness truly stood out, though all the staff were equally friendly and accommodating. The environment made it easy to connect with other guests, and the overall vibe was both relaxing and lively. Highly recommended for solo travelers or anyone looking for a great experience in Malta!

One of the cleanest hostels we’ve ever stayed in! We had a private room that was immaculate and cleaned every day. Comfortable and air conditioned, we slept very well here! Very quiet and relaxed hostel, not the place to go if you are looking for a wild social time. Bus stop right out front, and a 10 min walk into the main part of St Julians - very accessible to public transport and the airport.

The hostel is perfect for you if you want to have a peaceful and relaxing time. It’s quiet, placed in a calm area, not next to the busy streets. What I loved the most was a wonderful balcony on the rooftop - you can sit there for hours reading your books, making some notes or just enjoying the view. For me also important was the kitchen - fool of tools and space for preparing your own food. Everything was clean and ready to use all the time. Guys from the staff are very helpful and friendly. They gave me some advice where to go, what to. We even played some music together hahah!

Great accommodation considering the low price! There is all the necessary you may need, replenished kitchen, very nice terrace on the roof with even a jacuzzi as in the photo (though water it's not very warm). Staff is friendly. Dormitories are quite narrow but with curtains and big wooden lockers under the beds.

1. Excellent location in quiet neighbourhood of Sliema. Bus stops, groceries etc are just 5-10mins walk away 2. Rooms & bathrooms were neat and clean. Decent comfy beds with "safe" drawers. 3. Wifi was great throughout 4. Fully equipped kitchen to make your own food. 5. Wonderful staff, very friendly helpful and make you feel comfy.

I liked everything; the colors, the style, the availability of the staff, the comfort of the bed, the amazing rooftop (I’ve never tried it but, there’s a jacuzzi in it!!) The kitchen is perfect and full of the every tool you need and there’s even a living room where you can talk with the other guests The staff really helped me in this hard and amazing trip; every time I had an answer or a request they always respond and gave me some advice; they even helped me getting understood and tried to teach me another language (thank you so much Neil!)

Nice hostel in San Julian (a little upon the hill), friendly staff, furnished kitchen. There is a beautiful terrace as in photos with even a jacuzzi!

It is really clean, the roof terrace is a great amenity and I loved spending time there, several toilets and showers so you don't have to queue, the kitchen is well equipped, also even if there are any problems the staff solves them quickly and efficiently. and they have maps of the area for everyone!! I absolutely recommend it, will definitely be back if coming to Malta again. Great value for the money!
